Ethan Jeros
Defensive Line Coach, Northern Michigan University

Ethan Jeros is entering his second season at Northern Michigan University as the defensive line coach.

He was the defensive ends coach at Virginia Military Institute during the 2005 season.

Before his arrival in Lexington, Va., he was the defensive line coach at Muskingum College (2003-04), and the defensive line coach at his alma mater Marietta College (2000-0s) in Marietta, Ohio.

While at Muskingum, Jeros led a defensive line that improved from last in the Ohio Athletic Conference to second in the league in quarterback sacks.

Five Muskingum players under his tutelage attained All-OAC conference honors.

He began his coaching career as a high school coach in New Jersey as the offensive and defensive line coach at New Milford High School from 1996-1997, and then as the defensive coordinator, linebackers and tight ends coach at South Brunswick High School (1998-00).

At Marietta, he was a two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference Team selection (1992-93) as a defensive tackle, and was named to Don Hansenís National Weekly Football Gazette 1993 All-America Team as an honorable mention selection.

A native of Hightstown, N.J., Jeros has been inducted into the Hightstown High School Hall of Fame.

Jeros received a bachelorís degree in Public Relations (1995) and masterís degree in education (2002) at Marietta..
