California University of Pennsylvania

Online Clinic

The California University of Pennsylvania football staff is the featured Coaches Learning Network Online Clinic.

The Cal staff has shared articles, drills, forms, techniques, plays, strategies, and philosophy that helped them capture the 2005 PSAC Western Division title.

Cal went 8-2 in NCAA II competition this season. Highlights include having the nationís 7th ranked scoring (42.1 ppg), 11th ranked total (462.4 ypg).


The Cal defense was 10th in the nation in scoring defense (14.1) and ranked 11th in total defense (272.7).

Defensive Consultant Jim Driscoll


Coaches Learning Network Defensive Consultant Jim Driscoll  has over 35 years coaching experience, including five as a high school head coach, and 27 at the college level where he was a three-time defensive coordinator.


As a defensive coach at North Dakota State and Northern Michigan University his teams qualified for postseason play seven times, including capturing the NCAA II championship at NDSU in 1969.
